EXPERIENCE

• I was directly involved in the assessment and management of Acute Medical Emergencies /Chronic medical problems during my tenure as a resident and registrar.
• Attended medical outpatient clinics and dealt with patient referrals from other units. This has widened my clinical skills enabling me to diagnose and plan the management of patients effectively.
• I have independently performed many procedures like Central Line Insertion, Cardioversion, Abdominal Paracentesis, Pleural Aspiration, and Biopsy, Chest Drain Insertion, Skin Biopsy, Temporary Pacing wire Insertion, Dialysis care, Bone Marrow Aspiration, and Lumbar Puncture.

GENERAL CARDIOLOGY EXPERIENCE

• I have conducted Chest Pain Clinics, and General Cardiology Clinics and have performed Transthoracic Echocardiography on inpatients and outpatients in a Tertiary Center.
• I am responsible for providing a Cardiology Consultation Service for the Siddhartha Medical College & Government General Hospital, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India.
• I built the primary PCI team in Help Hospitals, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. I have been directly involved in the care of patients admitted for assessment and treatment in cardiology wards and in Coronary Care Unit.
• Completed 10000 Echo-Cardiographies as a primary operator and interpreter.
• Completed 5000 Treadmill tests, and 24 hrs Ambulatory ECG monitoring tests.
• Performed 55 Head up tilt table tests as a primary interpreter.
• Actively involved in Pacemaker Interrogations and follow-ups.
• Worked in Cardiac ICU in managing critical cardiac patients for the past 15 years.
• Worked with the Nanotechnology department on medical projects (classified).
• Established the first EECP facility in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY EXPERIENCE

• Completed 3000 cardiac procedures as the primary operator, which includes Coronary Angiogram, Temporary pacemaker, and CATH studies.
• Completed 1500 PCI as a primary operator, including primary angioplasties predominantly as a radial operator.
• Experienced with IVUS, FFR, and IABP procedures.
• Second operator for 300 coronary angioplasty, permanent pacemakers, Balloon Mitral valvotomy, AICD & CRT procedures, Balloon Atrial septostomy, and ASD closures.
• Worked in EP lab for 3 months at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences.
• Permanent Pacemaker Implantations – Dual Chamber pacemaker implantations, Single Chamber, Left Cephalic Vein approach, Pulse Generator Change, Repositioning of atrial wire Electrophysiological studies, AICD implantations.
